26 December (Wed): live DVD + World Tour!

During his Christmas Day live, miyavi announed the release of a live DVD from that very evening. Along with such great news, he also announced his first World Tour, "THIS IZ THE JAPANESE KUBUKI ROCK TOUR 2008"!! The tour will span over 9 countries: America, Germany, England, France, Finland, South Korea, Taiwan, China, and Japan. We will announce more information as it becomes available.

16 November (Fri): Singles - New & Old

On November 14th, miyavi released his 8th major single, Subarashiki kana, kono sekai - WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD -. All three editions of this single are still available for order at CDJapan. Please support our shining star!

Now an announcement about miyavi's new single for 2008! Currently untitled, the single is due to release on January 16th. At the moment there will be two editions: CD and CD+DVD. As more information about the single comes available, we will keep you updated.

28 September 2007 (Fri): Message about MK website

A change has been made to the character encoding used for Masa Karasu. I've gone through all the pages and searched for any weird special characters, though I might have missed some. We would appreciate it if you could email Cynthia if you find any weird characters on any of the pages.

27 September 2007 (Thurs): Online and Magazine Interviews!

Before his first performance in Europe, JaME was able to have an interview with Miyavi at AnimagiC in Germany. The article also includes a press conference.

For their summer 2007 issue, the American magazine, purple SKY, has a 6-page interview with Miyavi. The issue is currently sold out on their website, but do not let that stop you from buying your own copy! American fans can check purple SKY's partial list of local stores that carry the issue. For those whose city is not located in the partial list and overseas fans can purchase the summer issue at Lolita Kisama's website.

14 September 2007 (Fri): Happy Birthday, 雅-miyavi-!

A lot has happened in a year, especially for this wonderful man. This year was filled with many first-time events such as his first performances overseas in the USA and Germany! He even joined a band with many well-known artists after only being solo for several years. Miyavi, all of your fans continue to wish you the best of luck and hope that you will always have a life filled with happiness! Continue to live and reach for your dreams. All of us will always be there to support you.

27 June 2007 (Wed): Official MySpace URL Change

Two weeks after announcing his official myspace URL in his blog, there has been a change to the link. It is no longer http://www.myspace.com/miyavijp, but rather http://www.myspace.com/miyavi (without the 'jp' at the end).

If you have Miyavi added on myspace, do not worry about the link change since it does not affect the friends he currently has added nor the statistics from the previous URL.

On a side note, Miyavi released his 7th major single, Sakihokoru Hana no Yoni / Kabuki BOIZ, this past month and if you haven't already ordered your copy or are wanting a limited press edition, there are still some copies available at CD Japan. Also don't forget that he'll be releasing his album, 7 Samurai Sessions -We're Kavki Boiz- next month on the 18th, so don't forget to pre-order your copy!

14 June 2007 (Thurs): Official MySpace & Radio Information

For those who may not yet know, Miyavi has an official MySpace. So for all you Miyavi fans who have a MySpace account, don't forget to add this amazing musician to your friends list!

June 17th from 12:00-12:55, Miyavi will have a public live broadcast from Shibuya Spain Hill. More information can be found at TOKYO-FM.

June 20th from 20:00-21:25, Miyavi will make a live broadcast guest appearance on bay-fm "ON8".

June 21st starting at 20:00, Miyavi is scheduled to be appear on the internet radio LFX's "Suno Dolche", which will include a live performance!

12 June 2007 (Tues): Performances & A New Release

On June 1st, Miyavi performed at the "AREA 10th Anniversary ZEPP TOKYO" with bands such as Kagrra, Kra, and more.

Already having two solo performances and about to have a third with S.K.I.N. in the USA, Miyavi will have his first European performance in Germany on July 29th. Along with Plastic Tree, Miyavi was invited as one of the musical guests for the convention Animagic 2007 at Brückenforum Bonn. His show is scheduled to begin at 18:00 and end at 19:30. On July 18th, Miyavi will be releasing his first mini-album titled 7 Samurai Sessions -We're Kavki Boiz-. This release will be a collection of remakes of previous songs with members from his Neo Visualizm Tour. The limited edition will come with a DVD, which will contain studio recording footage.

11 June 2007 (Mon): JRock Revolution 2007 and S.K.I.N.

As many already know, Miyavi performed at the JRock music festival, JRock Revolution in Los Angeles, California at the end of May. During his performance he announced that he will be joining music legends Sugizo, Gackt, and Yoshiki in forming a band named S.K.I.N.! If we recall, in December 2006, Miyavi made an announcement stating that he was thinking of joining a band, and now, 5 months later, that has been confirmed.

At the moment, other than it's line-up, there is not much information about the band. An official site has yet to be released, but JaME has created an artist file for what little there is known about S.K.I.N.. Currently, S.K.I.N. is announced to have their first performance at the anime convention, Anime Expo 2007 at Long Beach, California, USA at the end of June. We will post more information about this "Superband" as it becomes available.

The wide-show reporter and somewhat famous Noriko Shoji.
In 1991, when she met the rock band "X" on a sudden impulse, she's been impressing fans who have an excited atmosphere to the extent of being passionate and emotional towards the music of the band members, and feeling the desire of these young people to see her LIVE she got a TV interview. A huge emough of letters in response arrived at the TV station, and thereafter she frequently went to many lives without regard to indies or major bands, and because she is the "Mother of Rock (rockin' mama)" who has continued to see the burning soul of rock, this is a rock album of 15 songs of her ultimate selection!
